hey, i'm akshit.

i build ai and data systems that work in production. i'm doing my cs master's at uva and vu, and i'm an ai engineer at hubby, building llm evaluation pipelines and guarded agent systems.

i move across the stack more than i pick a lane: ai, machine learning, data engineering, backend. reliability is the throughline, whatever the stack.

things i think about:

• making model outputs verifiable, so they're safe to act on
• agents that do useful work inside clear guardrails
• machine learning for health and genomics
• data systems that stay fast as they grow
• valorant to get tilted, stardew valley to calm back down

before amsterdam i did my bachelor's at vit chennai, with a stint studying data science at iit madras. some of what i've built: real-time virtual reality cv and neuro-data diagnostics for a health-tech startup, and a crisis platform that handled 33m+ hits in six weeks with no downtime.
